ENGRAVING

Engraving is an intaglio printmaking process in which lines are cut into a metal plate in order to hold the ink. In engraving, the plate can be made of copper or zinc. The metal plate is first polished to remove all scratches and imperfections from the surface so that only the intentional lines will be printed.

LETTERPRESS PRINTING

Letterpress printing, also called Relief Printing, or Typographic Printing, in commercial printing, process by which many copies of an image are produced by repeated direct impression of an inked, raised surface against sheets or a continuous roll of paper.

FOIL STAMPING

Foil stamping is a specialty printing process that uses heat, pressure, metal dies and foil film. The foil comes in rolls in a wide assortment of colors, finishes, and optical effects. Metallic foil is most commonly seen today – particularly gold foil, silver foil, copper foil, and holographic metallic foils – but foil rolls are also available in solid colors

EMBOSSING

Embossing and debossing are the processes of creating either raised or recessed relief images and designs in paper and other materials. An embossed pattern is raised against the background, while a debossed pattern is sunken into the surface of the material (but might protrude somewhat on the reverse, back side).

PERFECT BINDING

Perfect Binding is a widely used soft cover book binding method. The pages and cover are glued together at the spine with a strong yet flexible glue. The book has a square, either printed or unprinted spine and the cover is usually made from paper or card stock that is heavier than the interior pages. Our typical run is from just a few books up to 1000.

DIE CUTTING

In the world of printing, a die refers to a thin, razor-sharp steel blade that has been formed into a specific shape or pattern (sort of like a heavy-duty cookie-cutter). Consequently, die-cutting refers to the act of using this sharp die to cut paper, card stock, label stock, or other substrates into various shapes.

SPIRAL COIL BINDING

Spiral binding is the process of binding pages together with a plastic coil that is inserted into holes along the edge of paper pages. There are also a variety of colors available for spiral binding when requested. It is effective for documents from 1 up to 300 pages.

SADDLE STITCHING

In the printing industry, Saddle Stitching refers to a very popular book binding method in which folded sheets are gathered together one inside the other and then stapled through the fold line with wire staples.

MOUNTING

We offer an amazing feature for invitations, business cards, easels covers etc. We create a double-thick piece. Print your design on single-thick card stock, and we glue two pieces of the stock together using extreme precision. This creates a double thickness making your project stand out from others.

WIRE O BINDING

Wire binding is a form of binding pages together, by punching holes into the sheets then lacing a wire comb. Wire binding is also commonly known or referred to as “wire-o binding”. The wire is available in many different colors.
